After players get done with the Masters' events they will have a chance to finetune their form ahead of the US Open one more time at the Winston-Salem Open from August 21st till August 27th.
It's a neat ATP 250 event that generally lacks big names because most of them opt to go early to New York to prepare for the US Open. Hence why it's generally popular with lower-ranked players because it gives them a chance to win a trophy and something like that happened last year when Ilya Ivashka took on Mikael Ymer in the final.
Ivashka won his maiden trophy at the event and this year some other players are hunting that chance. Pablo Carreno Busta is set to be the top seed at the event having won the event back in 2016. Some other players that plan on playing include Botic van de Zandschulp, Holger Rune, Nikoloz Basilashvili, Frances Tiafoe, Lorenzo Musetti and more.
Ilya Ivashka will also be back to try and defend his trophy and the 250 ATP points he earned. It's the final event before the US Open begins the next week. Check out who is set to play as of now at the event.
