The PTPA framed itself as an organization that will help all tennis players and not just the best with the most resources.

Novak Djokovic spoke passionately about his desire to assist tennis players who don't regularly compete at the ATP level because it is extremely difficult for them to maintain their careers given the low prize money and the expenses of being a tennis player. That was criticized on Twitter by a tennis fan, and British player Tara Moore responded.

The PTPA released a statement when Halep got suspended: "The PTPA is committed to ensuring that Simona Halep, and every player, has a fair appeal and complete due process. We will fight for her rights and look to advocate for fairness and transparency for all players."

"Do the PTPA help other players that are named in the ITIA website or do they just fight for former Grand Slam Champions like Halep? Haven't seen this statement for others?" - wrote a tennis fan on Twitter with Moore responding:

"Their silence tells you everything."

The top-ranked doubles player from Great Britain, Moore, received a similar suspension to Halep earlier this year. Contrary to what they had promised, the PTPA did not come out in her favour. The British player added another tweet in which she stated: "Thanks PTPA for helping myself and Barbara Gatica too." That was followed by #sarcasm.
