They're in Group C, which will play its matches in Perth, and de Minaur should see plenty of support against his girlfriend. Demon reacted to the news by posting a picture of the groups with the caption 'Officially enemies now'.
The event will be played in January ahead of the first Grand Slam of the year - the Australian Open, which comes in the final week of the month. De Minaur and Boulter have been dating for a long time and have a relationship that isn't so much in the public eye.
Both being tennis players means that they're separated quite often, but it doesn't matter as they keep going strong. Boulter even opened up about the relationship recently, admitting that she learns a lot from de Minaur and the way he goes about his business.
He's the far better player ranking-wise, even though Boulter had a really good year in 2023, which means that she's slowly catching up. In any case, mark the date as we'll see them officially share the court but on opposing sides of the net.
They will likely face off in the mixed doubles match as the United Cup ties consist of two singles matches and one mixed doubles match, where we should see them on opposite sides of the net.
