Serena Williams will make her return to tennis in Eastbourne in a few days and she will also play Wimbledon one week later.
The American tennis legend has not played since last year's Wimbledon where she retired due to an injury. There has been much talk about Serena and her tennis career but many thought it was quite certainly over. Nobody expected her to seriously come back and due anything however with the recent news fans are speculating just what type of Serena will show up.
Is this just a swan song or this is a serious comeback to tennis which should see her play the US Open as well. Obviously, Serena won't be playing every week but a good result at Wimbledon could kickstart a spectacular comeback. Nobody knows, except maybe her sister Venus Williams. She commented on her comeback with relief that the secret is finally out now.
I've been keeping the secret for a long time and I'm just glad it's out. People say I've heard and you say I don't know, you feel like you are lying, lead me out of this. She hasn't played in a year, I haven't played any year. It's going to be great to see her back in action. She's quite formidable.
