Rafael Nadal was revealed as an obedient and unproblematic child by his uncle Toni Nadal which was great for practice.
Nadal's remarkable work ethic is largely responsible for his professional success. Nadal, who is utterly dedicated to his job, discovered this quite early in his career as a result of his personality. His uncle Toni Nadal spent a lot of time with him and he noticed a highly diligent boy who made instruction very simple.
Rafael was always a very docile boy. He was uncomplicated and obedient, someone you could say things to without question. He wasn't trying to embarrass you like other kids who have a harder time obeying do.
Nadal never questioned the methods of his coaches including that of Toni Nadal and it worked out perfectly. He learnt the value of hard work early on and it's a quality that still follows him to this day and he owes much of his success to it.
You said something to him, and you saw that he immediately had the predisposition to do it. That is something that a coach or teacher appreciates a lot. It is due to the education that his parents instilled in him and, obviously, to his way of doing things. I, for example, would never have let him intentionally break a racquet, because that is my way of understanding the world. But the fact that he didn't throw it away is a matter of the education that his parents gave him.
