Former doubles number one Rennae Stubbs predicted Novak Djokovic to end up in the range of 28 Grand Slam trophies in his career.

Djokovic got to number 22 recently at the Australian Open and it went as smoothly as you can hope for a grand slam-winning run. He wasn't seriously challenged in any of the matches and that was with a significant leg injury that impacted his movement.

I think that by the time Novak [Djokovic] finishes his career, he’s gonna have, I'm gonna guess at 28. I think that he can win at least five more Grand Slams by the time he’s finished his career. So that'll put him in about 27.

It's not a number that seems impossible when you observe how the recent Australian Open unfolded. There are not many players that seem capable of beating Djokovic at his best and that's certainly going to help him. This level will make him a contender at all three grand slams and it's not impossible for him to win at least one more, possibly two.

You have to think that he is a favorite every time he plays, particularly a hardcourt Grand Slam or at Wimbledon. I mean, the guy can win a couple more Wimbledon titles.
