Novak Djokovic admitted in his press conference that he wants to make even more history despite some suggesting that it's quite arrogant to want so.
Djokovic already created so much history that it's hard to imagine that anybody will ever top it. However, the competitive nature of the Serbian drives him to want to create even more history. It's not hard to understand why, he's still arguably the best and nowhere near retiring.
From a professional point of view, I have a desire to make more historic results. Some say it's arrogant when I talk openly about it, but I don't think so, I think it's normal.
Djokovic was then asked how long he plans to play tennis for and he didn't want to give a number of any metric. It doesn't have anything to do with age, or number of trophies and records but rather his ability to stay competitive.
There is no such number, ha-ha. I don't have a number until what age I will play professional tennis. Automatically, after the age of 30, people in sports ask these questions, especially in tennis.
The hunger is still present, I would characterize it more as a passion for sports and a great desire to compete. I like to play tennis with my son, recreationally, I have no aversion to sports because it takes up such a large part of my life.
