Elena Rybakina is doubling down on her social media post from recently where she defended her coach Stefano Vukov.

The coach was heavily criticised by Eurosport analyst Laura Robson along with former players Pam Shriver and Marion Bartoli for showing a lack of respect towards Rybakina. She dismissed all of that on Instagram and now doubled down on it in an interview with Eurosport.

Unfortunately, the internet is a big thing and someone can make a comment without thinking and then people just pick it up and make a mess.

Rybakina on the criticism

Rybakina explained that those people don't know her or her team and don't understand the dynamics with how it functions. She also urged anybody who has something to say to come to her directly instead of mixing things up.

A few people made some comments; they don’t know me at all, and they don’t know my team, which I was really surprised by because if there are any problems, you can always come and talk with me directly. But people decided to post it on the internet so I kind of showed the reality, that everything is fine and everybody needs to stay in their places and not mix up.
