Despite not playing as much as he would like to, Novak Djokovic is having a superb season once again when he won at almost every event he entered.

The 35-years-old Serbian is currently on a 16-match winning streak as he's yet to lose an ATP match since the quarterfinal meeting with Rafael Nadal at the Roland Garros. Later this year, Novak Djokovic is set to defend his title at the 2022 Paris Masters, where he triumphed 6 times in his career, but his participation is in doubt according to his coach.

“Everything related to some kind of records is interesting to Novak. The question remains how much he will play and how long it will last, but at the moment he is in now, I am sure he could attack or influence those records as well,” Ivanisevic said during an interview with Sportske novosti.

“He was always physically fit, that was never a problem and if he stays like that, I am convinced that he could stay at the top or near the top for another three years and fight for all the titles.”

When talking about the Serbian's season so far as well as detailing his plans for the upcoming events, Ivanisveic was not sure if former world no. 1 will travel to France to defend his title at the 2022 Paris Masters.

“He played brilliantly, especially in Astana. It’s like he didn’t take a break at all, and he hasn’t been in tournaments since Wimbledon,” Ivanisevic said.

“It is clear that he will play in Turin (at the ATP Finals), but the question remains whether he will go to Paris before that,” Ivanisevic commented.
