Novak Djokovic is very helpful to his fellow players, according to fellow ATP player Damir Dzumhur, who doesn't see the same thing with Rafael Nadal.

Nadal and Djokovic are without a doubt two out of the three greatest tennis players of all time, but there's always a discussion about who is the best, and different metrics are used to compare them.

While some keep it only to on-court achievements, others compare also their generosity off the tennis court, and that's what Damir Dzumhur did recently as per quotes shared by tennis journalist Luigi Gatto.

Dzumhur, as a player from the former Yugoslavia like Djokovic, might be biased towards the Serbian, but that didn't stop him from expressing his thoughts about the two.

Dzumhur knows them both and has played against both; however, he is much closer to Djokovic and considers him the better player.

He frequently uses Djokovic's facilities in Serbia and has previously referred to him as a friend, so this is hardly surprising, but the way he highlighted the distinction attracted the attention of several fans.

"Novak helps players a lot more, not just players from the former Yugoslavia, but tennis in general, he tries harder to help other players, to improve the ATP Tour, to improve the conditions for all players not just for the top-100, but for those who are in the top-200, top-300, top-400."

While praising Djokovic, who is soon set to play doubles in Tel Aviv, the Bosnian player mentioned also his main rival, Nadal, who according to Dzumhur, has never showed this kind of support to other players.

"It's something that I think Nadal has never really shown in his career."

While it may be true, it's important to mention that it's difficult to establish whether and how much the Spaniard helped others, or whether he focuses on helping people in need rather than tennis players, but Dzumhur's opinion is clear.
