World number 1, Novak Djokovic likes to educate himself and as he admitted during an interview at the 2022 Roland Garros, he does that also during the tournaments.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion admitted that he often carries more books than he can read and also opened up which topics fascinate him the most. Currently, he's reading about breathing techniques which should allow him to raise his energy level, which he will definitely need in his quarterfinal match against Rafael Nadal at the 2022 Roland Garros.

"Right now I'm reading a book by a not very famous Russian writer, who talks about breathing techniquess. Based on physiology and anatomy, you illustrate certain breathing techniques that allow you to raise your energy level or relax. I like reading books on health and psychophysical well-being."

"My wife often criticizes me for carrying many more books than I can read. I also carry at least a dozen books during the week-long tournaments. I choose which book to read according to my mood."

Djokovic then also opened up about social media, saying: "I also use them, but each individual must learn to control the time he spends on the Internet. Social media are interesting, but they also hide negative sides. They are now part of our life and we cannot pretend that they do not exist. I have two young children and I am aware that in a short time they could have something to do with it."
