"It's clear who the tournament wants to see go through" - Zverev complains about scheduling and Alcaraz

Alexander Zverev is still not happy with scheduling at events and he complained about Alcaraz getting extra time off by virtue of the scheduling.

Zverev has not played a single match at night yet with the German playing every day in the heat during the day. He doesn't mind as he keeps winning but for him, it's kind of baffling why Carlos Alcaraz has played three times in the night session compared to some other players that have yet to play one (Medvedev, himself). He complained about it to the media with some really strong words:

"Of course he's the new face of Tennis but it should be more mixed. It's obvious in which direction things are going and who the tournament wants to see go through."

Zverev seems to hint that Roland Garros has an agenda with the scheduling which is troublesome. They probably don't but it's hard faulting him for such a stance after the experience in Madrid where his semifinal match started much later than Alcaraz's. He finished late, went to bed late, did not sleep that well and completely bombed in the final tomorrow. There are probably some bitter feelings there still.
