Stefanos Tsitsipas would love to have some friends on the Tour however he just can't seem to relate to most of them.

Stefanos Tsitsipas recently opened up about his tennis life during an interview with GQ as part of their list of most promising tennis players who might take over soon. The Greek player just secured another Australian Open final and he'll be hoping to make the final finally after falling short a couple of times.

"It felt different this time from any other match [this week], but the most important thing is that at the end I found a solution. It was a very difficult three-setter, one of the most difficult ones that I had so far in the competition."

In the GQ interview, Tsitsipas spoke about failing to make many friends on the Tour because he doesn't really relate to most of them. He would love to have more but for now, it's not worked out that well.

"I would love to have friends on tour. I just don’t feel like I relate to a lot of them, in terms of how I approach life."

He also spoke about tennis in Australia and how growing up in Greece helps him pley well here. It's the event where he performed most consistently over the years despite never making a final before.

"I grew up in a climate that is very similar here, from the place I come from in southwestern Attica. It always reminds me of home a little bit when I'm here. The conditions are similar. It's not very humid, it's not very tropical. I can say it's similar to the Athenian Riviera."
