Casper Ruud is all in on his tennis career working tirelessly to become better at it but also trying to enjoy it as much as he can.
Being a professional tennis player was a dream for Ruud and not many people get to live out their dream. He's enjoying every moment of it but also understands the sacrifices that go into it as he's quite professional about it.
I would say that I’m quite professional about things in my career. I don’t mess around too much. Any time I step on court, whether it’s a practice or a match, I’m all business. Of course I always have fun with it.
Ruud has done a fair share of winning so far in his career. He has 9 trophies to his name and two 50+ win campaigns in the last two years. Ruud described the feeling of winning it as if a weight gets removed off your shoulders.
If you win it, when the match is over you sort of lose like 10, 20 kilos off your shoulders. You can just be yourself, you can let go of all emotions and feelings and know that the rest of the day, I’m going to be a winner.
