Stefanos Tsitsipas wrote a genuine post on social media reflecting on his Cincinnati Masters performance and explaining how he felt being away from the internet.

Tsitsipas enjoys philosophizing and he reads a lot of books on the subject. He frequently shares some of the sayings with fans, and now he talked about his week in Cincinnati in a message on social media, admitting that he had been gone for days from it:

"Proud of this week. Haven’t touched my phone in more than 8 days, cause I felt like I needed it. It’s amazing how life slows down when you’re not exposed to stimulants, and constant dopamine machines like this. Some long battles to endure."

"Plenty of running and fighting. Day and night. Out there battling it out with my “sword”. I’d like to continue by thanking the team for making these last couple of days feel like I am 6 years old again."

"So pure and raw. Overflowed by beautiful emotions. Having plenty of fun on-court, experiencing the competitiveness and liveliness that Holger Rune has to offer with his rocket-fuelled Viking returns. What a great kid! Mason is quiet special I got to say. People here are so united and caring, it’s nice to see!"
