Despite being out of Top 20 Nick Kyrgios is 4th best player in 2022 according to win percentage

Nick Kyrgios is having the best season of his career and many different stats prove it.

Currently, the 27-years-old Australian is the 21st player in the ATP Rankings but that is due to variety of the reasons. Except for Rafael Nadal, no one in Top 100 played fewer tournaments than Nick Kyrgios and that's one of the reasons why he couldn't collect as many points as his competitors.

Moreover, due to points being stripped from this year's Wimbledon, he misses 1200 points for playing a final and that amount would push him to the 12th place in the rankings.

Overall, the Australian won 37 out of 47 matches he played and that makes up for a 78,7% win rate that puts him to the fourth place overall.

There are only three more successful players in this stat this year and they collected all of the Grand Slam title this year. Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic both lost only five matches this year but since the Spaniard played six more matches, he leads the Serbian.

While the 22-time Grand Slam champion won 88,4% of matches he played in 2022, 21-time major winner won 86,5%. The third most-successful player is Carlos Alcaraz who won 50 out of 60 matches he played (83,3%).

Behind the fourth Kyrgios, Jannik Sinner and Matteo Berrettini share sixth place with 75% of victories. While Sinner won 39 out of 52 matches, last year's Wimbledon finalist won 24 matches and lost only 8.
