2023 Monte-Carlo Masters ATP Prize Money & Points Overview - 5,779,335€
As the ATP Tour shifts its focus to the clay courts, anticipation is building for the 2023 Monte-Carlo Masters.
This prestigious event is set to take place at the Monte-Carlo Country Club from April 9th to 16th, with a total prize money of €5,779,335 on offer. With an impressive entry list full of stars, the competition is sure to be fierce as they battle for valuable points and a share of the lucrative prize pool.
Defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas will be seeking a third consecutive victory, a feat not achieved since Rafael Nadal's impressive run in 2017. Nadal, known as the 'King of Clay', withdrew from the tournament and he was followed by his compatriot Carlos Alcaraz shortly after.
The Greek will face stiff competition as a former champion, Novak Djokovic also makes his return to the tournament. Djokovic, who was prohibited from competing at the Sunshine Double, will be eager to add a third Monte-Carlo Masters title to his collection.
All of them will be fighting for the top prize of 1000 points and 892,590€ for the champion, which the Greek player collected for the past two season. The prize for the runner-up is also reasonable, as they will receive 600 points and 487,420€.
Everyone at the 2023 Monte-Carlo Masters will be rewarded as the distribution starts at 23,100€ and 10 points for the first-round exit, but the likes of Alexander Zverev, Andrey Rublev, Casper Ruud, and Daniil Medvedev will be surely targeting much higher.
