Coco Gauff is playing really solid tennis in the US capital. The American won a couple of matches, ensuring a deep run with a win over Liudmila Samsonova, sealing her place in the final. This week's event is a combined event meaning it's both a WTA and ATP event, and it's something that fans have been enjoying.

Gauff was asked about it following her previous match and she admitted that it was a nice experience. The stands are packed, fans are getting a chance to enjoy both men's and women's tennis and it's something she hopes sticks around for the future.

There was like I think almost a sold out crowd which is really cool and I think for women's tennis it really is great when they come and support and it just shows that we can bring as many crowds as the men do at these combined events so hopefully we do more combined events. I think both the fans and the players like it.
