A number of ATP and WTA stars shared their opinion on whether Canadian music star Drake would defeat Serena Williams in an actual tennis match.

There was a caveat to that question, though, provided the 23-time Grand Slam champion played with a left hand. Williams is naturally a right-hander on the court and possesses a two-fisted backhand.

During the recently concluded Miami Open, the Broadcast Boys' host quizzed some of the players, including Jessica Pegula, Serena's childhood idol Coco Gauff, ATP stars Ben Shelton, Grigor Dimitrov, and Jannik Sinner.

The same page initially asked Japanese star Naomi Osaka for her opinion on the survey. It found that 71% of American fans believed they could win a game against a professional player. The four-time Grand Slam champion branded the findings as "disrespectful."

Drake famously released his hit single "Worst Behavior" in 2013 from the album "Nothing Was the Same". In it, he claimed that he would defeat Serena Williams in a tennis match if she played lefthanded. He even mentions the former World No. 1 in one of the verses.

"And it's back to LA, open the mail, starin' at the check, Enough to make you throw up, man it's gross what I net, I'm with my whole set, tennis matches at the crib, I swear I could beat Serena when she playin' with her left."

But tennis stars did not agree with the rapper's thoughts. Gauff, in particular, who regards Serena as an inspiration and her role model, staunchly defended her.

The 20-year-old feels Drake would not even win a point. Other contributors to the video include World no. 2 Jannik Sinner, who reckoned that Serena might afford to give Drake a game.

"No, he would not even win a point, really. He's wrong."
Coco Gauff
"Drake, my man, not a single chance."
Grigor Dimitrov
"I don't think so. I would give him confidence in one game, you never know. You have to believe."
Jannik Sinner
"No chance, maybe if he practices a lot. A point. I know he is a good singer but I don't know how his tennis skills are."
Stefanos Tsitsipas
"Absolutely not (laughing)."
