18-years-old Coco Gauff will play her first Grand Slam final at the 2022 Roland Garros after she defeated Martina Trevisan in the semifinals.

It's been a great week for Coco Gauff in the French capital as she's yet to lose a set at the 2022 Roland Garros and will play her first Grand Slam final. Shortly after the semifinal match started, the young American settled with umpire and Trevisan that her opponent's grunting is unacceptable and they could continue without any further troubles.

Martina Trevisan was one of the lower-ranked opponents that Gauff faced on her way to the final and it showed on the court as she was dominant almost the whole match after a nervous start.

Both players traded their service games at the beginning, but after the first six games were played and the score was 3-3, the young American won 12 out of 14 points and won the first set comfortably 6-3.

In the second set, she was even more dominant when she hit 10 winners and made only 5 unforced errors and already after an hour and 26 minutes she could celebrate a 6-3, 6-1 victory.

In the final, she will play against the world number 1 and currently the most dominant player on the WTA Tour, Iga Swiatek. The young Pole triumphed without losing a set in both of their previous meetings and will try to extend her winning streak to 35 on Saturday to match Venus Williams' record.
