Iga Swiatek continues her unstoppable run at the 2023 Dubai Championships, advancing to the semifinals after Karolina Pliskova's withdrawal.

The young Polish tennis star has been in incredible form lately, winning her last five matches with ease, and has continued her dominance on the WTA Tour. In her last five matches, Swiatek has lost just eight games, an astonishing statistic that underscores her current form.

She has also won at least one set 6-0 in four of those matches, which is an indication of her absolute dominance on the court. However, Swiatek's path to the semifinals has not been entirely straightforward. In the quarterfinals, she was scheduled to face off against former world No. 1, Karolina Pliskova.

Pliskova is known for her powerful serve and aggressive baseline game, and the match promised to be a real test for Swiatek. Unfortunately for tennis fans, Pliskova was forced to withdraw from the tournament due to a viral illness, handing Swiatek a place in the semifinals without having to lift a racket.

While the circumstances of her advancement were less than ideal, there is no denying that Swiatek has been playing some of the best tennis of her young career and is well-deserving of her place in the last four.

With her place in the semifinals secured, Swiatek now has her sights set on the ultimate prize. She will face either Madison Keys or Coco Gauff, who also benefited from a withdrawal, in the next round, and whichever opponent she faces, she will be the favorite to win.

As the Dubai Championships reach their climax, all eyes will be on Iga Swiatek. Can she continue her winning ways and claim another title? Most probably yes! But everyone will want to stop the world no. 1 from making another 37-match winning streak.
