The 2022 Citi Open is a WTA 250 event running from August 1st till August 7th with an overall prize money of $251,750.
As the event is a 250 event the field is a pretty strong one with a native player as the top seed. Jessica Pegula will be the top seed at this event with Raducanu as the 2nd, Halep as the 3rd, Azarenka as the fourth seed and so on.
The event returns after not being held for a couple of years due to the pandemic and the last edition in 2019 was won by Pegula who will be the defending champion. If Pegula wins the event once more she will get $ 33,200 and 280 prize points.
