Iga Swiatek is up to 3 Grand Slams so far and Mats Wilander is sure she will at least hit 10 in her career as he explained after the US Open.

Swiatek made her tennis breakout two years ago when she raised the Roland Garros championship as a teenager. She had no trouble defeating the majority of the opponents she played, including Halep and Kenin, during her incredible run to the trophy.

She added another Roland Garros this year and later on the US Open trophy as well. Speaking on her after the US Open Wilander admitted he could see her winning at least 10 grand slam trophies in her career.

“I honestly think 10 would be a good number because I think she’s playing a game that’s a bit different from the other women. She’s playing faster, she’s moving faster, and she’s shown that when she’s not playing well in this tournament she can slow down and she can keep the ball in play by defending so extremely well." explained Wilander adding:

“When she plays at her best, I don’t see a woman being able to beat her, and when she plays at her worst, you have to be a hell of a player to beat her. Okay, maybe not on grass, but I think she’ll learn to play on grass too. I think 10 [Grand Slams] minimum.”
