Rafael Nadal's life changed dramatically when he welcomed his first child and he is reminded about it by his fans also when he has to travel away from his family.
The 22-time Grand Slam champion and his wife welcomed their first son and it was obvious that a lot of things will change for the new father. Rafael Nadal has often to travel far from Spain as he will have to do when the season starts in Australia in January. However, as of now, he's relatively close and he also collects presents from his fans that are meant to be for his son.
The Spaniard also gave an update about his family shortly after he became father, stating: "Hello everyone. After a few days and many loving messages I just wanted to thank you all. We are very happy and everyone is very well! A big hug," wrote Nadal in Spanish on Twitter.
On the other hand, his uncle Toni Nadal discussed how difficult it will be for Rafael Nadal to handle professional tennis career as well as the fact that his family now consists of three people.
"He will do this totally normally. He's not a special guy, as all footballers and many others do this. When he first has to go to Australia, it will be hard to be away, but in the end it is the price you have to pay," said Toni Nadal understanding that it will be hard for his nephew to be away from the family.
