Andrey Rublev and Rafael Nadal were having a lot of fun during their practice at the 2022 ATP Finals and thanks to on-court cameras, everything was well documented.

Only a few months ago, the Russian spoke about Rafael Nadal as his idol and how lucky he is to be able to practice with him and his affection for the Spaniard was obvious during their practice in Turin.

Nadal made fun of the fact that he almost had "one less rival" after nearly hitting Auger-Aliassime during a practice. It didn't take long before more amusing news from Turin began to circulate as the Spaniard trained alongside Rublev, another guy who likes to have fun on the tennis court.

After one of the rallies, Rublev mockingly flashed his opponent the middle finger, and it didn't take long for him to exact revenge. Nadal approached Rublev and put his hand around his neck while acting as if he were choking the Russian as he sat down to rest.

Since both players displayed a great deal of respect for one another, everything that was done on the practice court was done with a smile on the face. Except for the funny "choking", there was one more moment when Rublev joked about Russia beating Spain at the 2021 Davis Cup Finals as well as 2018 World Cup in football. "Lost both Davis Cup and football to Russia," Rublev joked.
