There's no other Grand Slam tournament where Novak Djokovic would be more dominant than the Australian Open, but he couldn't add another title in 2022.

The Serbian triumphed at the first major of the season every time since 2019 until 2021 and this year, he wanted to add his fourth consecutive title. However, Novak Djokovic was deported from the country and it seemed that he may not be able to enter it for three more years.

Yet, things change quickly and right now it seems that after missing two Grand Slam titles in 2022, the 21-time Grand Slam champion will begin the new season in Australia as the news should be confirmed by the CEO of Tennis Australia, Craig Tiley.

"Yesterday I heard directly from Craig Tiley that surely Novak Djokovic will play the Australian Open 2023," journalist Luis Alfredo Alvarez tweeted.
