Murray, Draper & Norrie Form Strong Great Britain's Team For 2023 Davis Cup Final Eight

The 2023 Davis Cup Finals are inching closer, and Great Britain is sending a great squad with Andy Murray, Jack Draper, and Cameron Norrie.

Great Britain hosted its group in the recent Davis Cup Finals qualifiers and barely made it through as the final doubles match sealed the deal. Evans and Skupski produced an incredible effort to win the match and sent Great Britain to the final eight, where they hope to go all the way.

They will have some good players to lean on, with Murray, Norrie, and Draper all part of the team. They're all pretty capable singles players and love to play indoors, which gives them a lot of balance in approaching matchups with different nations.

All of them were in action at the recent qualifiers, as Murray and Draper provided wins while Norrie lost his match. Norrie has generally been struggling in recent weeks, but you never know when he might find the inspiration to play well.

Besides those three heavy hitters, the team will also have Daniel Evans and Neal Skupski, who have proven to be quite a formidable team so far.

It's a pretty balanced squad, maybe one of the best ones at the event, because we have a good mix of players with various styles, as well as most of the team having a lot of experience.

Outside of Draper, all players have been playing tennis professionally for many years, so that should give them an edge. The event will be played from November 23rd till the 26th, so that's right around the corner. Let's see whether they can go all the way with this pretty strong squad.

Neither of these players is in particularly great form right now but they'll have time to practice until Malaga with several big events coming up such as the Paris Masters.
