Djokovic Showed Once Again 'Why He's The Best Player In The World' Says Alcaraz

Carlos Alcaraz was crushed by Novak Djokovic in the 2023 ATP Finals semi-final, and after the match, he could only concede that the Serbian is the better player right now.
A few weeks ago, we were destined to have this great battle in the final part of the season between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz to decide who was the best player in the world.
Unfortunately for Alcaraz, the battle never commenced because injuries and other issues really impacted the final part of his season, so he lost any chances of actually catching Djokovic.
We still got the ATP Finals, where there was a good chance that we'd see the matchup that Daniil Medvedev denied at the US Open. They both played well in the group stage, and ultimately the two met, but it wasn't what fans expected.
It wasn't much of a match as Djokovic cruised easily, leaving Alcaraz to wonder what went wrong. The funny part is that the Spaniard actually looked on top to start the match, but it quickly fell apart after that.
After the loss, Alcaraz simply could concede that Djokovic is the better player right now, which he showed on the court.

The loss concluded a pretty solid season for Alcaraz, who will hope for more success next year. When it comes to the next installment of the Alcaraz- Djokovic rivalry, it will happen in December. They'll play on the 27th in Riyadh, just a few days before the 2024 season officially starts.

- IDK, it looks like to me that Raducanu should praise herself and her team for 'gaming the system' as in playing the points and ranking game. When you look at her season of wild cards, skipping tournaments (including the Paris Olympics!), retiring from losing matches and avoiding qualifying rounds, it seems like there was some plan to move up the ranks without actually playing a lot of tennis.
