WATCH: Nick Kyrgios Practices In Mallorca Despite Halle Withdrawal

Nick Kyrgios isn't having a very good grass season so far with serious doubts about the health of his knee emerging after some recent events.

The last match Nick Kyrgios played before making his return on grass was back at the Australian Open. It was an exhibition set on the courts of the Australian Open but not many realized that it would be the last time he would be on a court in a very long time.

He announced his withdrawal from the event not long after that match, providing proof of his injury. He would ultimately undergo surgery to repair the knee and miss much more than he initially thought he would. It was a tough time for Kyrgios as he struggled with watching everybody play and him being away from the courts and the ATP Tour.

Return finally came in Stuttgart but it wasn't the best one. He lost to a player who never played a match on grass before complaining to his team that his knee was giving him issues. He then withdrew from Halle in the leadup to the event causing even more concern about his status but he made the trip to the Mallorca Championships and was spotted practicing there recently.

On the social media, the event organizers posted Kyrgios on the court though he had a brace on his knee. It's clear that it's giving him some sort of problems but it's also likely that he will try and play through it at Wimbledon. Time will tell whether he will be able to play his best but he's still as confident as ever.

Despite losing to Djokovic in the final last year, Kyrgios still think that he's the only one able to beat the Serbian at the event. Perhaps we get to see that rematch and if we do, let's hope that both players will be able to play their best tennis.
