The IMG Futures Stars event is called the most prestigious U12 tennis event in the world. It is sponsored by IMG Tennis (International Management Group), a company that acquired the Madrid Open last year, which begins this week.
Despite welcoming some of the most promising youngsters in the world every season, this year, the spectators got to see also some of the best professional tennis players on the ATP Tour, as two starts made an appearance at the IMG Futures Stars event.
The event opened to a packed crowd and an exhibition match between Carlos Alcaraz and Hubert Hurkacz. It marked the event's beginning, continuing with the U12 future stars taking over.
One of those was Jaime Alcaraz, the 10-year-old brother of Carlos Alcaraz, who is said to be a very talented player himself. Hurkacz cherished the opportunity to play in front of the kids, saying afterward that he was excited to see who out of them would become the next big tennis star.
Alcaraz himself captioned the photo of himself and Hurkacz on social media.

The match between the two stars was pretty eventful. Both enjoyed their time on the court, smiling between the rallies and showing the fans that they really enjoyed playing the match. In a match that both played for the spectators, Hurkacz came out on top, winning in a tie-break, 7-4.
Their presence will also certainly motivate the young, up-and-coming players, who got to see from up close what it takes to be one of the best players in the world, as both certainly fall into that category.
