For the second year in a row, Novak Djokovic will take part in the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic at the Hurlingham Tennis Club.
The Hurlingham Tennis Club is located in the Fulham area of the Hammersmith and Fulham borough in West London. It's been there since its founding some 150 years ago and over its long history, it saw many prominent people walk through its gates.
Tennis is no exception as it's one of the sports available there and it stages a grass exhibition event called the Giorgi Armani Tennis Classic. Grass exhibitions aren't anything new in the week before Wimbledon with the famous Boodles Challenge being held for years until it was cancelled in recent years due to renovations at the club and COVID.
It will make a return in 2023 but until then, London fans have a chance to see some big names at the Hurlingham Exhibition which will host Novak Djokovic once more. The Serbian played one match last year beating Felix Auger-Aliassime and that's all he needed to go and win Wimbledon.
The Serbian won't play any events leading up to Wimbledon but he'll get a feel for London and if it worked last year, why not this year? He won't be the only player taking part as the entry list features some pretty big names. We'll see Carlos Alcaraz, Holger Rune, Casper Ruud, Frances Tiafoe, Alexander Zverev, Cameron Norrie, and many others.
The event also features a legends section where we'll see the world's greatest showman Mansour Bahrami alongside Marcos Baghdatis, Xavier Malisse, Thomas Enqvist, and Mark Philippoussis. The last one of them would have been in Mallorca that week had Tsitsipas not parted ways with him.
He has since started working with Maria Sakkari who will be in Eastbourne that week but it's only a 90-minute train ride between London and Eastbourne. The exhibition will take place from June 27th till July 1st.
