World number 1, Daniil Medvedev and world number 2, Alexander Zverev won't take part in the 2022 Wimbledon and so Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal will be players who will be the top two seeded players.

Novak Djokovic is undefeated in the All England Club since 2018. The Serbian defeated Kevin Anderson in the final in 2018, Roger Federer in 2019 and Matteo Berrettini in last year's Wimbledon final. He entered the last two tournaments as the first-seeded player and it will be the same also in 2022.

Yet, a few weeks ago it didn't seem that world number 3 will be the first-seeded player at the 2022 Wimbledon due to many points he dropped in the ATP Rankings. But Daniil Medvedev is not able to compete due to a ban and Alexander Zverev injured himself at the Roland Garros and withdrew from the 2022 Wimbledon.

Therefore, Novak Djokovic will be no. 1 in the All England Club with his biggest rival, Rafael Nadal, being the second seeded. Another Roland Garros finalist, Casper Ruud, will be no. 3 and Stefanos Tsitsipas will be the fourth-seeded. Last year's finalist from Wimbledon, Matteo Berrettini will be the eight-seeded this year.
