Daniil Medvedev isn't a fan of courts at Indian Wells and he's not afraid to show it as he did multiple times during this year's tournament.

During his fourth-round match against Alexander Zverev, the Russian even said that the courts should be banned. However, he then went on to say that his tantrums are not something he would like to be remembered for in his career but rather for his personality and results.

Surely, fans at Indian Wells will remember Medvedev's result from the 2023 tournament as he defeated Frances Tiafoe to reach his first-ever final at this event. Speaking to the Tennis Channel, after the match, he mentioned also conditions in Indian Wells.

"For whatever reason, today felt super fast. Not the court, it is slow, but in general, the conditions. As soon as one of us was making a strong shot, it was really not easy to continue the point."

"Maybe that's why I was talking less or we're getting closer to the last matches and the further it goes, the less you have to talk."

Although he obviously doesn't like the court and conditions very often, after reaching his first Indian Wells final, Medvedev couldn't forget to mention how much he likes Indian Wells.

"I always use my opportunity to say how much I like Indian Wells when I'm not on the court. I absolutely love it here."

On top of that, the Russian player also highlighted the unpredictability of playing tennis in Indian Wells, as virtually every match presents a new challenge, for which he, and also his opponents, have to prepare.

"Everyday is different. (There's) wind sometimes, sometimes no wind and the ball is flying, sometimes it doesn't fly. You're like, why? You have to adapt everyday."
