Andy Murray's comeback story from a hip surgery has been quite something, and former player James Blake has huge admiration for him.

The British player basically came back from retirement because a specialist told him that he'll never play tennis again. Well, he's playing and not just playing, he's playing pretty well for much of the year on the ATP Tour.

It's quite an inspiring thing, with many of his former and current colleagues praising him for his efforts. He doesn't have to do any of it, but he's doing it because he wants to, and that's very admirable.

When you add on top of that that all of this was basically declared impossible, then you understand how great it truly is. One of his former colleagues, James Blake, spoke to Sky Sports about what he's been able to do since coming back showering him with praise in the process.

He's earned the right to do whatever he wants to do. He's such a great champion and the fact that he was always one of the hardest workers now coming back with a metal hip and still working as hard as he does and showing that he loves it, because he has no reason to, he's already a first ballot hall of famer and one of the all time greats.
He probably has more money than he ever could spend in five lifetimes. He's doing it because he loves the game so as long as he loves it, do what you love. You only have so long to do what you love and get paid for it and have fans while you're doing it. So if he wants to continue enjoying it, go as long as he can and then enjoy the rest of your life. Our life is long after tennis too, which a lot of people don't realise when you're in that bubble of the world of tennis.

Obviously, no one knows how long he'll play, and in ways, Murray doesn't know either. He's been asked multiple times, and he's shut it down every time. Even so, he admitted that it's pretty close, and it will happen sooner rather than later.
