From November 12th until 19th, the ATP year-end competition, the 2023 ATP Finals, will be played in Turin, Italy, and the draw has been revealed.
Every year, the best of the best meet at the year-end competition, and the 2023 edition of the tournament promises to be one of the best events ever, and the majority of the players already hit the practice courts.
One thing we knew is that the top two seeds, the defending champion Novak Djokovic, and the ATP Finals debutant Carlos Alcaraz won't meet in one group, and the first-seeded Serbian ended up in the green group, while his Spanish rival will compete in the red group.
Joining them from the second pot are another two very strong opponents. Djokovic will meet the fourth-seeded Jannik Sinner in the green group, while Daniil Medvedev, who was "not strong enough" last year, according to his own words, will join Alcaraz in the red group.
Stefanos Tsitsipas, who is a former champion of the tournament, and called it "probably bigger than a Slam" will have a chance to prove his qualities in the green group, joining the experienced Serbian and the young Italian.
On the other hand, the fifth-seeded Andrey Rublev will participate in the red group against Alcaraz and his very good friend Daniil Medvedev. The Russian will face a lot of friendly fire in Turin, as completing the group is the seventh-seeded Alexander Zverev.
