Novak Djokovic is still the prize money leader in 2023, accumulating over $11 million in total after his most recent triumph at the 2023 Paris Masters.

The 36-year-old has not competed at all of the significant tournaments like some of his younger rivals, but he still leads the prize money race in 2023. The reason is quite simple, Djokovic won the biggest tournaments.

He started his season with the Australian Open triumph, followed up on it at the Roland Garros, and the Serbian also reached the Wimbledon final, before lifting the US Open trophy.

Those are the four biggest tournaments in tennis, and as a result, they also offer the most in prize money. Djokovic also won the Cincinnati Masters and the Paris Masters, and he collected some prize money also in other events that he attended but didn’t end up winning.

In total, the Serbian won $11,540,253 in 2023, out of which $15,656 comes from doubles. Second behind the 24-time Grand Slam champion is Carlos Alcaraz, who is close to earning $10 million in 2023, with his total being $9,647,931.

Daniil Medvedev is the third player that won at least $8 million in 2023, as the Russian collected $8,134,179 in paycheques throughout the 2023 season.

Two more players managed to earn more than $5 million across the 2023 ATP season. Jannik Sinner is in the five-million club, earning $5,748,892 in both singles and doubles.

The most-active earner in doubles among the Top 30 players is clearly Andrey Rublev, who won $368,057 in doubles in 2023, and thanks to that, his prize money total across the season is $5,163,128, with the Russian surpassing milestone $20 million in career earnings after the Paris Masters.

Other significant prize money earners that won at least $3 million in prize money throughout the 2023 season include Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alexander Zverev, Hubert Hurkacz, Taylor Fritz, Holger Rune, and Casper Ruud.
