The US Open is days away, and we're getting more and more outfit reveals as Taylor Fritz and Madison Keys showed off the new Nike fits for the major.
The US Open is only a few days away, and it's shaping up to be a really epic one. From the looming Novak Djokovic - Carlos Alcaraz showdown to the rise of Coco Gauff, we'll hopefully see a lot of excitement this year.
Both Fritz and Keys will have the spotlight on them as they attempt to put together a strong effort at the US Open. Keys is part of the group of players expected to make the second week, and technically, she's probably the 3rd most likeliest American to go all the way behind Gauff and Pegula.
She's been in the final before, so there is certainly some experience with that. Fritz, on the other hand, never stood in a Grand Slam final, but he certainly has ambitions to do well at the home Slam as well. Both of them wear Nike while on the tennis court, and both were part of the campaign to show off the new fits for the event.
We've seen this getting quite popular lately, with players teasing and ultimately releasing their outfits on social media. Jessica Pegula did it with her special outfit for this year. Coco Gauff will have one bright one this year, with media reporting on Djokovic's outfit recently as well.
We now know what Fritz and Keys will wear as they modelled the new kit. It's a rather colourful one, which has been the theme recently. We've seen tennis kits become more colourful and interesting compared to some monotones we've seen in the past.
Time will tell whether that works out for them but they will be able to count on the support of the native fans.
