Carlos Alcaraz was named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 category, while women's number one Iga Swiatek was honoured in the All-Star Alumni.

Alcaraz had a sensational 2022 season, where the 20-year-old won his first career grand slam at the US Open and climbed to the top of the men's ATP rankings. The Spanish star became the youngest-ever player in ATP history to end the season at the top of the rankings and he earned an estimated $10 million in prize money.

Swiatek's recognition also comes after her star-studded 2022 season in WTA competitions. The Polish player won both the French Open and the US Open and held on to the number one ranking spot from April 2022 until the end of the year.

Also, Swiatek's honour comes after she was named in the 2022 Forbes 30 Under 30 list. The world number one was also named on the Forbes most paid athlete list last year.

Both Alcaraz and Swiatek return to action at the 2023 Indian Wells tournament this week and the pair will look to improve on impressive form early in the season.

Alcaraz has already won the Argentina Open and reached the final of the Rio Open this year after he missed out on the Australian Open with a leg injury.

Swiatek has bounced back from her disappointment of being eliminated in the fourth round of the Australian Open in January. Since then, the 21-year old won the Qatar Open and reached the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships in February.
