The 2023 season of Aryna Sabalenka is over, and she posted an update on social media vowing to do better next time at the WTA Finals.

Sabalenka had a few outings at the WTA Finals by now, and she's been pretty decent. Last year, she downed Iga Swiatek in the semi-final to advance to the final but failed to do much as she lost in the final.

A year later, Sabalenka once again took on Swiatek, but this time around, it was the Polish player who proved better in two sets. The loss was very disappointing for Sabalenka in many ways.

Firstly, it prevented her from advancing to the next stage of the event, but it also left her with the chance of losing her number one rank as well. That happened after Swiatek defeated Jessica Pegula in the final.

It's simply not the conclusion Sabalenka wanted because she expected more of herself. Even so, the season has been a pretty good one, as she finally achieved some great things.

She finally became world number one this year and also a Grand Slam champion. The WTA Finals might have been a disappointment, but she promised to do better next time around.

This season has been full of highlights !!! I know I could do better in the Finals , but it is how it is ! Next time I’ll do better! Wanna say thank you so much for all the support from all of you guys , you are amazing! Love you all

Ofc huge thank you to my team for everything you guys are doing for me! I’m truly happy person to have all of you by my side! More to come! It’s only the beginning for us. Time to switch off , recover and get ready for another preseason!
