Emma Raducanu was told to draw inspiration from fellow WTA comeback queens Caroline Wozniacki and Elina Svitolina.
Emma Raducanu is supposed to make her comeback sometime in the future months, and fellow player Laura Robson urged to take examples from the likes of Caroline Wozniacki and Elina Svitolina.
Everybody has been very impressed with everything Elina Svitolina has been able to do this year. The Ukranian player returned earlier this year and rather quickly established herself as one of the better players on Tour, with good runs at Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
Caroline Wozniacki also made a comeback this year and hers was even more unlikely than that of Svitolina considering that she missed 3 years of tennis. Still, she returned and won her first match playing some very good tennis.
As a former player, Robson urged Raducanu to look at those examples on her road back to the tennis courts. Robson has backed Raducanu to come back in strong fashion because she's got the tools to be one of the best in the world.
We know she has got the game to do it. She has the ball striking ability, she is a great mover and a great all-round player and she competes. All you can do is stay as healthy as possible and try to play as many matches as possible to see where you go.
Other players have come back very quickly in this last year. Svitolina has been amazing to watch and then Wozniacki has looked amazing considering she has not played in three and a half years. There are lots of players for Emma to look up to as examples of how quickly it can come back and not to get too disheartened if it doesn’t because everyone is on their own journey.
Raducanu has been working as of recently so a return is nearing. We just don't know when exactly it's supposed to happen.
