Naomi Osaka partnered with wellness brand Hyperice, for whom she is narrating a guided meditation to help people improve their mental health.

Osaka endure a difficult 2022 season. The Japanese star never came close to reaching the level that took her to four Grand Slam titles, the last of which came at the 2021 Australian Open with former coach Wim Fissette.

Although Osaka's results decline is undoubtedly frustrating for her, she continues to make an impact on subjects off the court, including speaking openly about her mental health struggles and wanting to help others experiencing them.

Mental health used to be rarely discussed, and too many still disregard this very important issue. That includes some in the media who have been dismissive of Osaka when she raised the subject.

Osaka is also kind-hearted. She demonstrated that by rushing to help Daria Saville when she suddenly fell to the ground screaming during their match in Tokyo. The Australian ultimately had to retire from the contest.

The four-time Grand Slam champion has now attempted to assist people with their mental health by partnering with Hyperice in a guided narration. A brief snippet from it can be viewed in the Instagram post below.

Osaka explained why she decided to collaborate with Hyperice, mentioning that being a voice for people on the topic of mental health means a lot to her.

“I want to be a voice in helping those who may not be as open when it comes to the topic of mental health. I hope the meditation I co-developed with Modern Health can inspire those to start a practice of their own as it has helped me so much in my mental health journey."

"I'm excited to combine my long-time support of Hyperice with my advocacy role at Modern Health to help make mental health practices more accessible and approachable for everyone.”
