Coco Gauff will face Iga Swiatek in the Dubai semi-final and it's coming at a time when the Polish player is playing amazing tennis.
The American didn't play a great match against Keys and she'll have to do a lot better against Swiatek. She's not putting any pressure on herself because she knows that she's playing a player who is playing some of the best tennis possible right now.
All five times, I did something wrong! To be honest, she's playing great tennis and there's a reason she's World No.1. Tomorrow I have no pressure. I just have to play my game -- I definitely think I've gotten better since the last time I played her. Ranking is just a number at the end of the day. You just have to step on the court believing you can win, and that's what I'm going to do tomorrow.- Gauff on playing Swiatek
Both she and Keys struggled today having a lot of unforced errors. It was somewhat of a chaotic match but Gauff stayed grounded, something she emphasized after the match.
Staying present in the moment and just accepting the good shots she hit [was key]. I knew it was going to be a tough match, and I'm glad I was able to stay stable when I needed to.- Gauff on beating Keys
