Caroline Garcia will contest another final as she made her way into the Monterrey Open final, where Donna Vekic waited.

The final will see her battle Vekic, a player who leads the H2H 5-4. Battles between them have always been close but they haven't played in a while. Their last one came in Tokyo in 2021 and Vekic won that match. This time around, Garcia is looking for revenge.

"Donna is having an amazing beginning of the year and a strong end of the year last year also. She proved already in the past that she's a good player and today she had a solid semifinal. It's a big match for me to play and I'm very excited."
