On June 10th, 2022, the first Mick Fanning Charity Golf Tournament will take place. Celebrities, corporations, and donors from all walks of life will compete on an 18-hole golf course to raise donations for people affected by the tragic Northern Rivers floods.

The event will also include former world number 1 and 2022 Australian Open champion who donated her tennis racket to an auction. Currently highest bid is $19,000 by an anonymous bidder and it is still possible to bid for 2 more days. In a statement regarding auction, the event said:

"And you thought it was just going to be a golf day! We are blown away by the response we have received by the many of you who are keen to get involved with this fundraiser. Which is why we are doing something special to ensure everyone has an opportunity to contribute and join in on the fun."

"To go alongside the golf day, we have created an online auction to help further raise funds for the Northern New South Wales Flood Relief. We are extremely grateful to our sponsors as well as the amazing people who have donated some priceless memorabilia and experiences."

"Plus, who wouldn’t want beer for a year? Make sure to keep an eye out as there will be more auction items added that are huge!! If auction just isn’t your thing, you can also make a straight donation."
