The International Tennis Federation has announced the draw for the next round of the Davis Cup 2023.
Alexander Zverev's Germany - who are currently the number one seeded nation at the tournament - will be taking on Bosnia and Herzegovina away from home, meaning Bosnia will determine where and on what surface their tie will be played.
Tsitsipas, who has enjoyed a stellar start to the year, will see his Greek team face off against ninth-seeded Slovakia in Greece. The Greeks performed well in the United Cup alongside their female colleagues, and will be favourites going into that tie. Tsitsipas is one of the form players of the year, while they also boast a solid doubles pairing of Stefanos and his brother. Greece will also have the luxury of choosing where to play the tie, and will not have to travel.
Holger Rune's Denmark will also be at home against a tricky Brazil side who could cause some problems. With the explosive and supremely talented youngster in their corner, however, Denmark should make the most of their home advantage and will fancy their chances of progressing.
Dominic Thiem, still struggling for his best form and fitness following a lengthy lay-off from a wrist injury for most of last year, will lead Austria against Portugal. Even with their talisman far below his scintillating best, this is a home tie that Austria really should be capitalising on as the eighth-seeded nation will go in as heavy favourites.
The ties will be played between the 15th and 17th September this year.
