Taylor Fritz saw his iconic 2023 Roland Garros moment immortalized with a photo that made its way into his hands.

The 2023 Roland Garros was a very interesting experience for many players. We saw multiple being booed for various reasons turning Roland Garros into 'Booland Garros'. Novak Djokovic probably likes his experience the most having been crowned the champion, however, fans saw other players have iconic moments as well.

One of them was Taylor Fritz who was himself being booed for a few minutes straight after eliminating the last French player in the ATP draw. It's something tournament director Mauresmo called 'too much' but John McEnroe loved it. In some ways, it might be the most memorable moment of the event, and it's not a surprise that it was immortalized in a Polaroid.

Generally, when talking about memorable moments after the conclusion of a Grand Slam event it's probably something from the final match. If there was to be picked a picture of the tournament, you'd probably take one of the winner lifting the trophy but actually, for this one, it might be Fritz shushing the crowd.

It was a very human response from Fritz who was heckled by the crowd for much of this match, especially towards the end when the crowd wouldn't allow Fritz to serve. The umpire tried to deal with the crowd but they mockingly started making the 'shush' sound which is the same thing Fritz did when he won the match. Then we saw the boos and the rest is history.

The photo of Fritz making the 'shush' gesture was immortalized with a picture and the American was given the Polaroid. His immediate reaction to it was to smile as he posted himself holding the picture on his Instagram stories. Check out his Instagram story and his immediate reaction when he was given the Polaroid below.
