WATCH: Djokovic Booed For Pulling Out Violin Celebration For His Daughter At Wimbledon

Novak Djokovic has had a few signature win celebrations over the years, but his latest, which he started using at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, might be his favorite.

The Serbian generally isn't one of those players who celebrates winning matches in a big way, but that's normal for someone who has won 1110 matches in their career, so his celebrations have been relatively low-key unless he wins a big tournament.

He doesn't change his celebrations often, but occasionally, he'll add a bit of spice to his matches, especially if there is a storyline involved. It was certainly interesting when he copied Ben Shelton's celebration after beating him at the US Open, but more generally, the Serbian has had his own celebration in recent years, where he gives love to the crowd after he wins the match.

This year's Wimbledon saw him use a different instrument, which confused many people. Playing the violin takes a lot of skill, as does playing tennis, but what does his celebration really mean?

He admitted that his newest celebration came to be because of his daughter Tara. She's learning to play the violin, and he's doing it for her, and fans at SW19 got to see that special bond after he bested Lorenzo Musetti.

He brought out the celebration after the win over the Italian, and the cameras caught Tara jumping up in excitement after her father did the celebration, but on the other side of that, some fans in London didn't like it.

Those were likely Musetti fans who were unhappy that Djokovic had just saved break points to win the match in three sets, but also maybe people who misunderstood his celebration, as not many know it's addressed to his daughter.

It's really unfortunate that while having a bonding moment with one of his kids, some fans are not aware of the meaning of the celebration, and the Serbian's moment is ruined as a result.
