This year's Wimbledon wasn't a very great experience for Andy Murray as the Brit hopes to play at the event at least one more time.

Murray's career is perpetually on thin ice mostly because he doesn't know how long he will play. There is plenty of hunger and motivation to play the sport however his body dictates how long he'll play. He admitted a few times that he's one big injury away from calling it quits and an old body breaks down far easier than a young one.

Fans are hopeful that it never comes, something Murray wishes as well. Another thing he wishes is that this year's Wimbledon event isn't the last one he played. There are no guarantees for that but the way it ended was very disappointing. An extremely tough draw was the product of him missing out on a seeding spot and he paid the price for it by losing to Stefanos Tsitsipas.

It's a shame for the Brit because he was playing so well, winning ten matches in a row on the ATP Challenger Tour leading up to Wimbledon with high hopes for the event itself. He was healthy, too, but it wasn't meant to be. Speaking to The Times, Murray shared his thoughts on Wimbledon and his hope of playing there again.

I don’t want to have played my last match at Wimbledon. I’m still planning on continuing. But you never know with my age. Another injury could be the end. You can’t predict it.
Obviously, it’s more disappointing losing at Wimbledon now than when you’re 19 years old and you’ve got another 15 tries at playing there. I was gutted. It was a really close match; I felt I had a good opportunity to win. I still get very stressed or anxious the week before Wimbledon.
