Rafael Nadal has never been the most talkative tennis player in the world, but he’s always been very diligent about it as a part of his job, though recently, he got tired of questions about his health.

Nadal isn’t the youngest anymore, and obviously, he’s feeling the effects of his long career more and more. It does seem like, in recent times, it’s all he’s been asked to talk about, and he’s getting a bit fed up.

After successfully navigating the French Open with an injury, Nadal arrived at Wimbledon, dismissing any suggestion that he was injured. Even with that, certain media outlets kept asking him questions about his health, and at one point, he simply had enough.

Already before the tournament started, the 22-time Grand Slam champion stated that he was not going to talk about his foot.

Following his fourth-round win, Nadal admitted that he was tired of talking about his body. The frustration doesn’t come from the media asking about but also from him personally and his struggles.

He was annoyed that he keeps struggling with different issues, which basically forced him then to talk about his body which he said that he wouldn't do again.

"I am a little bit tired of talking about my body. It’s not that I don’t want to answer your question, but at the same time sometimes I am tired of myself, all the issues that I am having. I prefer to not talk about that now."

The 22-time Grand Slam champion further commented that he’s currently in the middle of an event and that he will keep playing. Ultimately, for him, it’s about trying his best every single day, and that’s what he’s been doing.

"I am in the middle of the tournament and I have to keep going. All respect for the rest of the opponents. I am just trying my best every single day. For the moment I am healthy enough to keep going and fight for the things that I want."
