Carlos Alcaraz met Novak Djokovic's son Stefan more than once, and they met following the 2023 Wimbledon Championships final as well.
The son of Novak Djokovic, Stefan Djokovic, is becoming quite a familiar face on the ATP Tour as he's basically there with his father at every event. The youngster apparently holds a deep interest in tennis which is something Djokovic was pretty happy about.
He also recently spoke about having the privilege to be able to have his family travel with him during the season so he doesn't have to miss any time with his kids. It's not a constant, and they don't travel to all the events, but it does happen frequently, especially during summer break.
Djokovic talks often about his family and it's one thing he cherishes greatly as the Wimbledon trophy ceremony showed. Djokovic remained stoic throughout his speech until he turned to his family, which is when he broke down in tears.
Stefan Djokovic is apparently a pretty decent tennis player as well and helps his father prepare for matches. He's also a fan of the likes of Rafael Nadal and Daniil Medvedev, apparently, as he recently sported the Russian's merch at Roland Garros. The young Djokovic also had a chance to meet Carlos Alcaraz more than once by virtue of being there at his father's practices.
He also met him following the iconic Wimbledon final which saw the Spaniard beat his father in five very good sets. Stefan was there watching the match from start to finish but after the match, he met Alcaraz and shook his hand.
The video of Alcaraz greeting the son of Djokovic made the rounds on social media as the Spaniard exchanged a few words with the team and family of Djokovic. The Serbian's wife, Jelena, was also there and congratulated Alcaraz on the victory. Check out the moment below, it happens around the 8th minute in the video.
